CHILDREN'S
MINISTRY
Overview
The Children's Ministry at Bethany is committed to the spiritual growth and development of the children from various walks of life with whom we interact. Our role includes equipping our children with the Word of God, developing each child's self-confidence and providing spiritual guidance for them on their faith walk. The team of teachers have dedicated themselves each week to see to it that our children whilst providing a safe space for them to share as they learn of God's love.

In terms of our approach, we have identified and applied practical methods. These include; interactive Sunday School classes and lesson plans; "Relax N' Chill" sessions (discussions) and performing arts, as well as teacher follow-up (checking in on the children to see how they're doing).

Mission
To foster an inclusive community of hope where our youths are spiritually, emotionally, physically, and relationally nurtured.

Goal
To positively transform this generation of youth by providing a wide range of teaching, training, relational, behavioral, and spiritual services to maximize the potential of the young lives we come into contact with.

The Purpose of the Youth Ministry is to:

help youths to integrate into the larger church community

help the church stay relevant;

inviting those who are not yet saved into a the deeper relationship with God
-
provide a safe, loving, and wholesome atmosphere for young people

helps the young people become mature in their faith
-
teach the word of God without fear or favour
-
help young people to develop their individual prayer and spiritual life
-
to assist our youths in developing good Christian principles
-
get involved in activities (games, sports, crafts, etc.) which will provide fun and the building of self-worth

YOUNG ADULTS MINISTRY
Overview
The Young Adults Ministry caters to the young people who fall within the ages 21 - 40 demographic. The role of this ministry is to engage, teach and educate this group, equipping them with life skills to cope at different levels as they transition between college, career and family. This ministry is also involved with outreach as well as mentorship of the teenagers within the assembly.
